Hi Mom, the studying is going great, yes the mission presidents and some of the general authorities are going to be here this week
, its pretty crazy, i hope i see uchdorf so i can say hi to him cause yaknow yaknow we're kinda ski buddies now! haha instead of responding to my emails you shoudl just send me a dear elder so i have more time to write you :) just an idea!! i feel like i've been in here for 2 months, every day goes by like 3, like time passes for you guys so fast and a week is normal for you, but a week for me feels like a month!! so saturday we played night soccer!! it was so fun and i was the only one that scored for my team!! :) on sunday we had church as usual.. i gave the prayer in priesthood meeting in spanish!! we also have to prepare a spanish lesson eveyr week for church which is crazy and then they call on you randomly......but i dont think they'll call on us for a few more weeks haha the temple walk was good, unfortunately the temple is closed :/ which is a total bummer cause i love going there, its super awe3some!! the temple walk was really fun though and we sat under this tree and i talked to my new best friend canadian elder turner in my group, then i saw chase and thats always awesome! then that night we had a wonderful devotional and after we watched the testament, which is the best church movie ever, and i think we're gonna watch it next sunday too!! i felt the spirit so strong at the end of it when christ touches jacob and then the lord heals his dad, its crazy...... we also watched elder hollands talk, which was actually a devotion, on missionary work, and thats super good.. gym is the best!! i played crocet, crow-kay......i dont know how to spell it, but anyway all the playing in NH that one summer with elyse and andrew and nicole and michelle payed offfffffff and i DOMINATED THEM!!! hahah it was fantastic, and canadians are terrible at that game......and i like to jump rope at gym!! me and mr.. canadian man do it and its awesome!! i also this week, it was super cool, flipped to a random scripture with a question in mind and the scripture answered my question!! it was sweet!! i LOVE singing in espanol!! its hilarious and so funny......we did service last saturday too, that was great, we did the trash and we got it done super fast.. we also went tot the trc again to teach someone the first lesson and it was AWESOME and i felt the spirit so strong and totally taught by it and we did so gooooood and it was like the lord was putting the words in my mouth that i was suppose to say cause i said everything super naturally and wasnt all shaky or anything, it was sweet, we taught about the restoration and everything.. next week we're teaching about the plan of salvation, and i'm excited because thats my favorite lesson! and the week after that we start teachign in spanish!!! crazy huh!!! def not prepared enough haha, i dont think anyone is......the periods on this comp0uter are messed up and every tiem i press it once two come out.. .. .. .. .. .. hmmmm weird.. worst thing ever happened!!! i took of my toe ring!! such a large part of me----gone, its terrible...... we were talking about obedience and i was like ooooooooooohkay i'll take it off, then i went in for an interview right......and someone had TOLD THE PEOPLE, and the guy was like 'so elder bertha......we hear you have a toe ring..." and i was like ya i'm gonna take it offff......pshhh someone told......i was already goooooing to.. but anyway taking it off was the most painful thing of my life and my toe got all kinda cut up and it was red and stuff, and that was only the beginning!! the first ring went with tons of pain, but the second was impossible and my toe was purple and like kiiiiiiiiiinda bleeding so we ended up taking it off later that night and we did it with a leatherman and twisted it off, and broke it in half........that killed.. then the last one we had to do the same thing then cut it with nail clippers....it was a terrible night.... BUT everything else is great!! the spirit is so strong here and i'm learning a TON!!! thank you EVERYONE for all the letters and packages and stuff!! it means the world!!! i look forward to gettting mail every day, and they make fun of me cause i get letters and dear elders all the time :)))))))))))))))))))) i love you guyssssssss!!!
